KlineFire will show the Australian market its local fore protection products at the Bus & Coach Expo
KlineFire is an Australian owned business with operations on a global scale. It has been specialising in the supply, assembly, and servicing of fire protection for more than 50 years. KlineFire will show off its latest equipment and service expanding over various industries, including transportation, mining, and construction, at this year’s Bus & Coach Expo.
In 2017, an exclusive distributorship between the two forces was announced. This partnership – boasting 150 years of shared industry service and dubbed "Innovation Through Heritage" – has since been providing Australian bus companies with a fire-suppression system that has been tried and tested on a global scale. KlineFire says the technology behind the system is moulded from the Raytheon Technologies Aerospace and Defence industry.
KlineFire vehicle-suppression systems include extinguishers either horizontally or vertically mounted with four nozzles for fast and directed distribution of the suppression agent. Nozzles are typically installed in the engine bay and/or battery areas in electric vehicles (EVs).

Extinguishers contain Purple K dry chemical, a high-performance extinguishing agent that is free-flowing, non-abrasive, non-corrosive, and does not cause any toxic effects. Purple K is widely used in the petroleum industry and is the only recognised NFPA agent for airport crash rescue. Due to its effectiveness and ease of clean-up with a simple hose washdown of engine bays, this chemical agent is also highly desired within the commercial-transportation industry.
Whether it's controllers, sensors or suppression agents, all KlineFire products meet international standards and conform to or exceed all current Australian standards. With nationwide service from multiple office locations, KlineFire offers support throughout the entire process, from design and procurement through to commissioning customised assets.
